Location
Description of the location
Costa Blanca - the Mediterranean coast of Alicante province, located in the south-east of Spain. A picturesque coast with numerous beaches - bays and mesmerizing views of the mountains stretches for 250 km.
The Costa Blanca region has a modern healthcare infrastructure, internationally recognized for its extensive experience in serving international patients and advanced treatment methods.
The most emblematic and visited towns of the Costa Blanca are Benidorm, Javea, Villajoyosa and Moraira.
Javea is another pearl of Spain on the Costa Blanca, located a few kilometers from the resort of Denia, at the other end of the foothills of Mount Montgo.
Every year, people from countries such as England and Norway, Germany and Sweden, Russia show great interest in buying property here, as this city is famous for its rich architecture, clean beaches and the historical component.
The beaches of Javea are located between two headlands, San Antonio and La Nao and constitute a great variety, which attracts a large number of tourists to this city, for example:
- “The Arenal” is the main sandy beach at the foot of Mount Montgo. Since the beach is considered central, it has a good infrastructure, medical, lifeguard and technical support. A large selection of water sports: scooters, catamarans, diving equipment rental points.
- “Granadella" is the most beautiful pebble beach and is considered one of the best places in this area for diving. Winner of the "Blue Flag".
- "Primer Montañar" is the city's large pebble beach.
- "Ambolo" is the only nudist beach.
The historic part of the city is located relatively far from the coast, about 2 kilometers. It is justified and related again to the history of the town. Back in the day, the locals suffered many centuries of pirate raids.
You will have an incredible pleasure just to walk along the promenade. As you stroll along the central Arenal beach in Javea, you will notice that there are cozy cafes and restaurants everywhere, where you can have a good meal.
Given the fact that Javea is one of the oldest Iberian cities on the coast, you can be enriched spiritually, as there is so much to see and do:
- Church "Santa Bartolomeu" - built in Gothic style towers over the neighborhood since the 12th century.
- The church "Saint Virgin of Loreto" - a modern but very beautiful temple in the shape of the keel of a boat, dedicated to the patroness of fishermen.
- "The Palace House of Antonio Bagnules" is the austere residence of the court Philip III. Today it houses the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography.
- “Cabo de Nao Lighthouse” - On top of the “Cabo de Nao San Martin” is not only a lighthouse, but next to it are the ruins of an old fortress. A very picturesque place at an altitude of 175 meters!
- The windmills are a symbol of the 14th century, just like in the novel "Don Quixote" by Cervantes.
- “Montgo Natural Park”.
Another interesting feature of Javea is that it is the easternmost settlement of the country, probably for this reason, it has firmly established a second name - "the town of dawn", because the new day, residents and guests of the city, meet the first in Spain!
