It can be reached from Alicante International Airport in 2 ways: via the AP-7 toll motorway (122 km) – 1 hour 15 minutes by car (ticket price is about 9 euros). By A – 7 and A – 30 (140 km) – 1 hour 40 minutes.

By the same roads you can reach the main cities such as Valencia, Cartagena and Benidorm.

This magnificent building was built over almost four hundred years, so if you look closely at the architectural design of the cathedral, you can see different styles of those times - from Gothic to Baroque. Another of the most popular and visited historical places is the Salcillo Museum, which was opened in honor of the brilliant sculptor. Here are collected the brilliant works of the master, which appeared in the 18th century.

During the Middle Ages, many fortifications were erected in Murcia. A vivid reminder of those times is the castle of Monteagudo located on a hilltop. The very first fortification in its place was built over a thousand years ago.

Moving away from historical buildings, in Murcia there is a natural reserve "Terra Natura", a walk through which will allow travelers to fully appreciate the diversity of local flora and fauna. A small zoo has been opened in the reserve, which is distinguished by an interesting design of enclosures.
